Juno was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in 2011 with the goal of making it to Jupiter to perform various scientific observations. Juno arrived at Jupiter this year (2016) on July 4th. Some measurements being taken relate to radiation, the gravitational fields and convection. Juno is powered solely by the solar panels extending from its sides.Juno's mission will finish in 2018 after orbiting the planet 37 times.
