Science Outfit of the Day: Sunset in Space

It's a well-known fact that fashion moves in cycles. What's in style one season most likely won't be the next. But you know what never falls out of style? Space. From the awe-inspiring beauty of nebulae to the brilliant burning light of suns almost incomprehensibly distant, the wonders of space have intrigued and inspired many. But these natural wonders aren’t the only thing about space we find beautiful. At Sci Chic, we’re just as inspired by the subtlety and carefully crafted efficiency of the spacecraft we use to reach the stars. Printing our Cold Front Necklace (Timelapse)

We’re keeping today’s blog short, sweet, and to the point. As part of our mission to spread the love of science, one of our oldest traditions here at Sci Chic is to share as much educational behind the scenes content as possible. 3D printing is still a relatively new manufacturing method, and as such, there’s a large amount of interest surrounding it. April Engineering STEM Star: Marielle Pellegrino

Welcome back, Sci Chic fans! April's theme is Engineering, and we're happy to bring your another installment in our STEM Star interview series! This month's STEM Star comes with an impressive resume. She has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, she's a Ph. D. candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder, and to top it all off, she's a lady rocket scientist!
